How It Works Technically
JustTrimVideo uses WebAssembly (WASM) to run FFmpeg directly in your browser. Here's what that means:
- 1. File Selection: When you choose a video, it loads into your browser's local memory (RAM).
- 2. Processing: FFmpeg runs in a sandboxed environment within your browser, processing the video using your device's CPU.
- 3. Output: The trimmed video is generated locally and saved directly to your downloads folder.
- 4. Cleanup: When you close the tab, all video data is cleared from browser memory.
At no point in this process does any video data leave your device. We literally cannot access your files.
