Frequently Asked Questions
Can I trim multiple sections from one video? ▼
Currently, JustTrimVideo extracts one continuous section per operation. For multiple cuts, trim each section separately. We're considering adding multi-cut support in the future.
How do I handle hour-long recordings? ▼
Long videos work great! Since we use stream copy (no re-encoding), a 3-hour video trims just as fast as a 3-minute one. Your device just needs enough memory to load the file.
What if the trim points aren't exact? ▼
Stream copy mode cuts at the nearest keyframe for instant results. This means cuts may be off by up to a second or so. For frame-exact cuts, you'd need a full video editor that re-encodes.
